A story about them, not just with their name in it
I have two small children, aged three and two. Watching their faces when they open a gift that really means something to them is one of my favourite things.
When I looked for a personalised book that would do that, I couldn't find one that felt right. Some were poorly made. Others simply put a child's face onto a stock character in a story that could belong to anyone. None of them told a story that was really about my children, or about the things they love.
So I started making them. I tested the first books on my own children and on friends' children, and their reactions were what convinced me. First comes the moment they realise it's really them on the page. Then they see they're doing the things they love, in places that feel like their own. Watching that never gets old.
What I care about most is that every story sparks their imagination. I want each child to close the book feeling that anything is possible, and that they're the one who can do it.
It's just me, working from home in Staffordshire, and every book starts here.

AI helps us write and illustrate each book. Every page is checked before print, and their photo is deleted once you approve their character.
